Product Overview

The Sxx10x SCR series is designed for uni-directional switch applications, including phase control, heating, motor speed controls, converters/rectifiers, and capacitive discharge ignitions. These SCRs feature a low gate current trigger level (0.2 to 15 mA) with a sensitive version offering a trigger current less than 500A, making them easily triggered by sense coils, proximity switches, and microprocessors. They boast voltage capabilities up to 1000V and surge capabilities up to 100A. Internally constructed isolated packages are available for simplified heat sinking and enhanced isolation voltage.
